Blyth, Brussels Legions welcome public back for Remembrance Day
After Remembrance Day of 2020 was unofficially closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the public were welcomed back to ceremonies this year provided they were outdoors and mask-wearing and physical distancing protocols were followed. The Blyth Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Legion Ladies Auxiliary marked the day in Blyth, while the Brussels Branch honoured the fallen outside in front of the Branch and the cenotaph, which was also the 100th anniversary of the poppy, with members of the community in attendance.
