Blyth Brussels U13 LL Crusaders heading to Canadian Tire Tournament

This Saturday, the Blyth Brussels U13 Local League Crusaders will be heading to Hanover to take part in the annual one-day Canadian Tire Cup Tournament.
Weekend action for Crusaders teams begins on Friday, with four games on the schedule. The U8 Black Crusaders will be in Goderich to take on the Sailors, while the U11 Local League Black team will host Goderich in Brussels. The U11 Local League Burgundy team will play the Goderich Sailors White team on the road and the U21 Crusaders will host the Arthur Vipers in Brussels.
On Saturday, the U13 Local League team heads to Hanover for the Canadian Tire Cup Tournament, while the U21 team will host the Huron-Bruce Blizzard in Blyth.
Also in Blyth, the U6 team will host the Howick Hornets and the U7 Black and Burgundy teams will play against two Huron Heat teams.
The U13 Rep Crusaders will be in Brussels to host the Central Perth Predators, while the U9 team will also be in Brussels to play the Wingham Ironmen Yellow team.
The U15 Rep Crusaders will be on the road, taking on the Lakers in Shallow Lake.
On Sunday, Dec. 18, the U8 Black and Burgundy teams will both be in Blyth to host two Seaforth Star teams, followed by the U11 Local League Burgundy team hosting the Central Perth Predators and the U11 Rep team hosting the Minto Mad Dogs, also in Blyth.
The final game of that day will be on the road, when the U18 Rep team travels to Ingersoll.
On Monday, Dec. 19, the U11 Rep team will play the Mid-Huron Huskies C team in Hensall, while the U15 Local League Crusaders will play the Goderich Sailors in Blyth. The U21 team will be in Shallow Lake to play the Lakers and the U18 Local League team will host the Mitchell Meteors in Blyth.
On Tuesday, Dec. 20, the U9 Crusaders will host the Wallace Sabres in Brussels, while the U18 Rep team will travel to Mitchell to take on the Meteors.
There are four games on the schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 21. First, the U9 team will play the Mid-Huron Huskies in Seaforth, followed by the U13 Local League Crusaders hosting the Howick Hornets in Blyth, the U11 Local League Black team playing the Meteors in Mitchell and the U18 Local League team travelling to Hensall to play the Mid-Huron Huskies.
On Thursday, Dec. 22, there’s only one Crusader game on the calendar, and it’s the U13 Rep team travelling to Wingham for a game against the Ironmen.
On Sunday, Dec. 11, the U18 Rep team beat the AEMHA Ice Dogs in Chesley by a score of 4-2, while the U11 Rep team hosted the Wingham Ironmen in Blyth, beating them by a score of 8-4.
The U11 Local League Black squad played the Burgundy team, with the latter claiming a 5-4 victory. The U13 Rep Crusaders travelled to Walkerton for a game against the Capitals, but a score was unavailable at press time.
On Saturday, Dec. 10, the U13 Local League team lost by a score of 4-1 to the Huron-Bruce Blizzard in Ripley, the same score the U15 Rep Shallow Lake Lakers posted to defeat the Crusaders in Blyth that day. The U13 Rep team was also in action that day, hosting the West Grey Warriors in Brussels, losing by a score of 4-0.
The U15 Local League team played the Mount Forest Rams in Brussels that afternoon, but a score was unavailable at press time.
The U7 Black team played the Cyclones in Listowel, the U7 Burgundy team hosted the Howick Hornets in Blyth and the U6 team travelled to Goderich for a game with the Sailors, but no scores were kept for those games.
On Friday, Dec. 9, the U11 Local League Crusaders shutout the Goderich Sailors White team by a score of 9-0, while the U8 Burgundy team travelled to Goderich for a game against the Sailors, but a score wasn’t kept for that game.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the U13 Local League team beat the Mid-Huron Huskies in Hensall by a score of 5-4, while the U11 Rep team tied the Meteors in Mitchell 3-3 and the U11 Local League Black squad beat the Central Perth Predators by a score of 4-0 in Blyth.
The U9 team travelled to Howick for a game with the Hornets, but a score was not kept for that game.
On Tuesday, Dec. 6, the U15 Rep Crusaders hosted the Mid-Huron Huskies in Brussels, winning the contest by a score of 7-3.
On Monday, Dec. 12, the U15 Local League team hosted the Minto Mad Dogs and the U18 Local League Crusaders hosted the Walkerton Capitals, both in Blyth, but scores were unavailable at press time.
On Tuesday, Dec. 13, the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre played host to two games: the U15 Rep team taking on the Mitchell Meteors and the U18 Rep team battling the Bruce Peninsula Predators, but scores were unavailable at press time.
