Blyth's Mooy restores Shed 3 bell tower at campground
Even though the annual reunion of the Huron Pioneer Thresher and Hobby Association won’t be going ahead this year due to COVID-19, that doesn’t mean that the association is sitting idle. Among the jobs being tackled are the reconstruction of the cider press in the Memorial Building and, earlier this week, the restoration of the bell tower on top of Shed 3 at the Blyth Campground.
Association member Herman Mooy tackled the job with the help of Harv Bernard, who operated the bucket truck, and Joe Hallahan and Barry Young tackling clean-up. The job began and concluded all before lunch on Monday morning, showing a tremendous level of efficiency from the volunteers. (Denny Scott photo)
