Brussels Legion hosts livestreamed cemetery decoration service
The Brussels Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion held its annual decoration service at the Brussels Cemetery over the weekend. The event wasn’t open to the public, but was recorded to later be streamed. Above, Rev. JoAnn Todd of St. John’s Anglican Church leads the service.
Prior to the event, volunteers with the Legion branch spent time marking the graves of World War I and World War II veterans and past Legion members with painted poppy stones to mark the 100th anniversary of the poppy being used for remembrance. (John Stephenson photo)
