Brussels Lions Club Kickstart draw tickets now available
Tickets for the Brussels Lions Club’s 2021 Kickstart raffle are now available to purchase.
The Kickstart raffle began in 2020 as a temporary replacement for the club’s annual elimination draw, fiddle jamboree and community breakfasts, which are major sources of revenue for the club. All were forced to be cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Kickstart was established as an alternative method of fundraising, which did not require social gathering.
Unfortunately, the circumstances of last year have continued into 2021 and a decision was made to repeat this fundraiser in 2021.
This year’s prize list consists of cash prizes of $1,000, $500, $300 and $200, as well as more than 40, $100 gift certificates and a children’s wagon that have been purchased by the club from local merchants.
It is vitally important to continue to support the local business community, which has been challenged by COVID-19. For that reason, this year’s prize list focuses on supporting the local business community, as it did in 2020.
Tickets cost $25 each and are available by contacting any member of the Brussels Lions Club. To minimize physical contact, they encourage buyers to purchase via e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org providing complete contact information, including name, complete mailing address and phone number, and indicating the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Payment via e-transfer to email@example.com is accepted.

The draw will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 11 a.m. and is tentatively scheduled to take place at Brussels Foodland, subject to provincial health guidelines.
