Clinton Raceway opens the season with a record-breaking day
The Clinton Raceway was open and bustling on Sunday, opening its season in May for the first time in three years after cancellations and schedule shifts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For many, it was worth the wait, as Sunday marked a record-breaking day at the local track. Nearly $84,000 was wagered on Sunday in Clinton, a new opening day record, while over $3,000 was raised for Central Huron Secondary School. (John Stephenson photo)
