Crusaders teams to host full slate of games this weekend

This weekend, the Blyth and Brussels Crusaders will play host to plenty of visiting teams in both Blyth and Brussels as January nears its end.
On Friday, Jan. 20, the U8 Burgundy team will play the Sailors in Goderich, while the U21 Crusaders will play the Mid-Huron Huskies in Clinton.
On Saturday, the U6 team will host Central Perth at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre, while the U11 Rep team will be in Wingham for a game with the Ironmen.
The U7 Black team will host the Wallace Sabres in Brussels, while their Burgundy counterparts will also play a team from Wallace, but on the road.
The U15 Rep Crusaders will host the Goderich Sailors in Blyth, while the U13 Local League team will welcome the Huron-Bruce Blizzard in Brussels and the U13 Rep team will play the Walkerton Capitals, also in Brussels.
The U21 team will play host to the Hanover Falcons in Blyth that night.
On Sunday, the U6 team will play the Thunder in Zurich and the U8 Black team will welcome the Goderich Sailors to Blyth.
The U11 Local League Black team will play the Listowel Cyclones in Blyth, followed by a game between the U11 Local League Burgundy team hosting the Goderich Sailors White team, also in Blyth.
The U11 Rep team will play the Central Huron Predators in Blyth that night, while the U18 Local League Crusaders will head to Listowel for a game against the Cyclones.
On Monday, Jan. 23, the U15 Local League team will play the Wingham Ironmen in Blyth before the U18 Rep team takes to the local ice, welcoming the South Bruce Blades for a game.
The U15 Rep team will be on the road, playing the Mid-Huron Huskies in Seaforth.
On Tuesday, Jan. 24, the U18 Local League Crusaders will play the Mid-Huron Huskies in Brussels, while, on Jan. 25, the U13 Local League Crusaders will welcome the Mid-Huron Huskies to Blyth and the U13 Rep team will play the Huron-Bruce Blizzard, also in Blyth.
On Friday, Jan. 27, the U11 Rep team will play the West Grey Warriors in Brussels, while the U21 team will play the Mid-Huron Huskies, also in Brussels.
The U18 Rep team will play the Mid-Huron Huskies on the road in Clinton that night.
Looking back at the week that was, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, the U13 Local League team ended a home game in Blyth with the Mid-Huron Huskies in a 3-3 tie, while the U15 Rep team lost to the Mount Forest Rams on the road by a score of 6-2.
The U11 Local League Black team tied the Mid-Huron Huskies in their first game of the Ernie Clayton HL Tournament with both teams managing to score eight goals each in their Jan. 13 contest.
As part of the Bradford Blue and Gold Classic, the U15 Local League team played the Kanata Blazers, winning by a score of 2-0.
The U13 Rep team lost to the Mid-Huron Huskies on the road by a score of 3-1, while the U11 Rep team beat the Central Perth Predators at the Elma-Logan Arena by a score of 8-1.
The U18 Local League team lost to the Mitchell Meteors on the road by a score of 4-0. The U15 Local League Crusaders’ game against the Howick Hornets was cancelled, while the U9 team played the Howick Hornets in Brussels, but a score was not kept for that game.
On Saturday, Jan. 14, the U11 Local League Black team continued its Ernie Clayton HL Tournament action with a 4-0 loss at the hands of the Warkworth Bulldogs, followed by another loss, this time to the Waterford Yellow team by a score of 4-2.
The U15 Local League team lost their next game in the Bradford Blue and Gold Classic, falling to the Kanata Cookie Monsters by a score of 6-1, followed by a 5-2 win over the Cumberland Dukes later that night.
The U13 Rep team played the Kinucks in Kincardine, but a score was unavailable at press time. The U9 team welcomed the Mitchell Meteors to Brussels, but a score was not kept for that game.
The U21 Crusaders fought to a tie with the Central Perth Predators in Brussels that evening, with both teams scoring twice.
On Sunday, Jan. 15, the U9 team travelled to Zurich to play the Thunder, winning by a score of 10-4. The U21 team also won, beating the Capitals in Walkerton by a score of 3-1.
The U11 Local League Burgundy team played the Listowel Cyclones in Blyth that evening, but a score was unavailable at press time.
On Jan. 16, the U15 Local League team played the Mid-Huron Huskies in Blyth, while, the next night, the U9 team played Zurich in Brussels, the U15 Rep team welcomed the Drayton Defenders to Brussels and the U18 Local League team played the Capitals in Walkerton, but scores were unavailable at press time.
On Jan. 18, the U13 Local League team travelled to Mitchell for a game with the Meteors, while the U11 Local League Burgundy team was also on the road to play the Meteors in Mitchell. The U13 Rep team hosted the Goderich Sailors in Blyth, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
On Jan. 19, the U15 Local League team played the Vipers in Arthur, while the U18 Rep team played the Shallow Lake Lakers on the road, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
