Hullett Grade 8 graduates honoured with parade through Blyth
With the COVID-19 pandemic still a factor locally and throughout the province, Grade 8 graduation ceremonies looked a little different for the second year in a row. However, families and school staffs did their best to make the graduates feel special to celebrate their accomplishments, all while complying with provincial health guidelines. That is what led to the Hullett Central Public School Grade 8 graduation parade that made its way through Blyth last week, the home community of many of the school’s students.
A Fire Department of North Huron truck led the graduates around the village, followed by Mikayla Ansley, the class’s Valedictorian, above, and her family, before they returned to the school to pick up their diplomas and have their picture taken. (Denny Scott photo)
