Playoffs continue for several Blyth Brussels Crusaders teams

Playoffs continue for a number of Blyth Brussels Crusaders teams this weekend as the 2022/2023 season winds down.
On Friday night, the U15 Rep Crusaders will be in Mitchell for a playoff game with the Meteors, while the U21 Crusaders will have their own home playoff game against the Hanover Falcons in Brussels.
On Saturday, the U7 Black team will play the Hornets in Howick and the U6 team will host the Wallace Sabres in Blyth. The U11 Local League Burgundy team will head to Wingham for a playoff game with the Ironmen, the U7 Burgundy team will play the Mid-Huron Huskies in Blyth and the U9 team will play the Goderich Sailors Black T2 team in Brussels.
The U8 Black and Burgundy teams will play Mitchell Meteors teams on the road and the U13 Local League Crusaders will take on the Mid-Huron Huskies in Brussels to continue their playoff journey.
That evening, three teams will be on the road for playoff games. The U15 Local League team will play the Mid-Huron Huskies in Hensall, while the U11 Local League Black team will play the Meteors in Mitchell and the U21 team will play the Lakers in Shallow Lake.
On Sunday, the U21 Crusaders will play the Capitals in Walkerton in another playoff game, while the U11 Local League Black team will welcome the Listowel Cyclones to Blyth for a playoff game.
Blyth Brussels teams will play a trio of playoff games on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The U13 Rep Crusaders will play the Minto Mad Dogs in Palmerston, while the U15 Rep team and the U18 Rep teams will host the Walkerton Capitals and the Hanover Falcons, respectively, for playoff games at the Brussels arena.
The U13 Local League team will play the Walkerton Capitals in playoff action in Blyth on Feb. 22 and the U18 Local League Crusaders will welcome the Mitchell Meteors to Brussels for a playoff game that night as well.
On Feb. 23, the U15 Rep team will be in playoff action against the Huron-Bruce Blizzard in Ripley, while the U15 Local League team will continue its playoff journey in Wingham with a game against the Ironmen.
On Friday, Feb. 24, the U11 Local League Crusaders will play the Zurich Thunder in playoff action, while the U11 Rep team will play the Wingham Ironmen, both in Brussels.
That night, the U18 Local League Crusaders will play the Vipers in Arthur for the playoffs.
Looking back, the U8 Black and Burgundy teams played Huron-Bruce teams in Blyth on Feb. 12, but scores were not kept for those games.
That evening, the U11 Local League Burgundy team lost its playoff game against the Mid-Huron Huskies in Blyth by a score of 6-2, while the U11 Rep team also fell in its playoff contest against the AEMHA Ice Dogs by a score of 3-2, also in Blyth.
On Feb. 11, the U18 Local League team won its U18LL Tournament game against Huron-Bruce by a score of 5-3, followed by a 3-2 tournament win over the Walkerton Capitals. They would go on to play Glencoe later that night to close out the tournament, but a score was unavailable at press time.
The U15 Local League Crusaders played in Palmerston for the Mad Dog Hockey Tournament, losing their first game of the day against Centre Wellington by a score of 4-3. They lost again later that day to the Mount Forest Rams by a score of 1-0.
The U9 team played the Central Perth Predators on the road that day, but a score was not kept for that game. The U21 Crusaders played a playoff game on the road against the Hanover Falcons, which they lost by a score of 6-2.
The U13 Rep team lost their playoff game that day to the Wingham Ironmen by a score of 3-1.
On Feb. 10, the U18 Local League Crusaders lost to the Wingham Ironmen in regular season action on the road by a score of 3-2.
The previous night, the U11 Rep team lost its playoff game against the Mid-Huron Huskies on the road in overtime by a score of 6-5, while the U18 Rep team won its playoff game over the Hanover Falcons by a score of 4-0.
On Feb. 8, the U13 Local League Crusaders beat the Mid-Huron Huskies in Blyth by a score of 3-2, while the U13 Rep team lost its playoff game with the Minto Mad Dogs in Blyth by a score of 4-2.
On Feb. 7, the U13 Local League team won its regular season game over the Wingham Ironmen in Brussels by a score of 8-2, while on Feb. 6, the U18 Local League Crusaders lost to the Arthur Vipers on the road by a score of 6-2.
