U15 C Huron Heat remain perfect in playoffs

The U15 C Huron Heat are still undefeated in their playoff run, winning their first six games of the postseason.
The team posted a 2-0 win over the Lambton Attack on Feb. 18 on the road, which came after a 2-1 Valentine’s Day win over the Ilderton Jets in Seaforth.
Prior to those games, the Heat had beaten the Lucan Irish on Feb. 5 by a score of 5-0, the Lambton Attack on Jan. 29 by a score of 5-0, the Ilderton Jets on Jan. 28 by a score of 4-0 and the Woodstock Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Jan. 22.
They continued their playoff push on Feb. 21 with a game against the Lucan Irish in Seaforth, but a score was unavailable at press time. They play against the Wildcats in Woodstock on Feb. 25.
The U18 C Heat have continued their playoff push, with a 2-2 tie with the St. Thomas Panthers on Feb. 18 on the road. This came after they lost to the South Huron Sabres in Clinton on Feb. 12 by a score of 1-0.
Next, they play the Sarnia Lady Sting in Seaforth on Feb. 24, followed by a home-and-home series with the London Devilettes - in Clinton on Feb. 26 and in London on March 1 - followed by a game with the St. Thomas Panthers in Clinton on March 5 and with the South Huron Sabres on the road on March 11.
The U13 C Heat have had a long break between playoff games, last playing the North Middlesex Junior Stars in Clinton on Feb. 12 and losing by a score of 3-1. They are next in action against the Bluewater Hawks on Feb. 25 on the road.
Then they take on the St. Thomas Panthers in Clinton on Feb. 26, followed by games against the B.A.D. Blazers on March 5 on the road and then on March 12 in Clinton.
The U11 C Heat have also had a break in their playoff action, last playing to a 1-1 tie with the St. Thomas Panthers in Blyth on Feb. 11.
Next, they played the Central Perth Predators on the road on Feb. 23, but a score was unavailable at press time. They then play the Woodstock Wildcats in Blyth on Feb. 25, followed by a pair of games with the Wallaceburg Lakers on Feb. 26 in Clinton and then on March 11 in Wallaceburg.
The U11 C Heat won the 26th annual Friendship Festival in Brampton with a 5-4 win over the Lambeth Lancers in the final.
This came after the team earned a spot in the final with a 2-0 win over the Stratford Aces on Sunday morning.
The Heat played one game on Saturday, posting a 5-0 win over the Upper Maitland Mustangs. This was after two tournament wins on Friday, Feb. 17 - a 5-1 victory over the Cold Creek Comets and a 1-0 win over the Stratford Aces.
The U11 HL Heat posted a scoreless tie with the St. Thomas Panthers on Feb. 17 and played the North Middlesex Junior Stars on Feb. 18 in Blyth, but a score was unavailable at press time.
They are next in action against the Sarnia Lady Sting in Seaforth on Feb. 25, followed by a game with the Mooretown Lady Flags on the road on March 5 and the B.A.D. Blazers on March 12, also on the road.
On Sunday, Feb. 19, the U15 BB Heat tied the South Huron Sabres by a score of 1-1 in a playdown, while the U11 B Heat beat the St. Marys Rock by a score of 4-0, also in a playdown.
The U18 BB Heat beat the Lambton Attack on the road by a score of 3-0 that day, while the U15 C Heat played Milverton on the road and the Senior team took on Monkton in Hensall, but scores were unavailable for those games.
On Feb. 18, the U9 HL White team played the St. Marys Rock in Seaforth, but the game ended in a scoreless tie, while the U11 B Heat tied the Southpoint Stars by a score of 1-1.
The U15 BB Heat beat the South Huron Sabres by a score of 3-1 that night, while the U18 BB Heat lost to the South Huron Sabres by a score of 3-2.
On Friday, Feb. 17, the U18 BB Heat beat the Stratford Aces in a playdown in Seaforth by a score of 2-0, while the Senior team played Exeter in Zurich in a playdown, but a score was unavailable at press time.
On Feb. 14, the U18 BB Heat played a playdown with the South Huron Sabres, but the game ended in a 2-2 tie.
The U11 C Heat beat the Stratford Aces by a score of 5-1 on Feb. 13 in Stratford.
On Feb. 20, the U15 C Heat played the Upper Maitland Mustangs in a playdown on the road, but a score was unavailable at press time.
On Feb. 21, the U9 B Heat welcomed the South Huron Sabres to Seaforth, while the U15 BB Heat were on the road for a playdown with the South Huron Sabres and the U13 C Heat played an Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) playdown with the South Huron Sabres at the Stephen Township Arena, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
On Feb. 23, the U18 C Heat played the South Huron Sabres in a playdown on the road, but a score was unavailable at press time.
Looking ahead, the U13 B Heat will host a playdown in Seaforth against the St. Marys Rock on Feb. 24.
On Feb. 25, the U9 HL White team will welcome the Ilderton Jets to Seaforth, while the U9 HL Black Heat will play the North Middlesex Junior Stars, also in Seaforth.
The Senior team will play Monkton on the road that night, while the U18 BB Heat will play the Bluewater Hawks in Clinton.
On Feb. 26, the U15 C and U15 BB Heat teams will host playdowns with the South Huron Sabres in Clinton, while the U11 B Heat will be in Lucan for a game with the Irish and the Senior team will host Monkton in Hensall.
The U13 C Heat will continue their OWHA playdowns with a game against the Mitchell Meteors in Mitchell.
On Feb. 28, the U9 HL White and Black teams will play each other in Seaforth, while the U11 B Heat will host a playdown with the Stratford Aces in Seaforth.
The U15 BB Heat will be on the road for a playdown with the South Huron Sabres that night, while the U13 Heat will host a playdown with the St. Marys Rock in Seaforth and the U15 C Heat will be on the road for a playdown with the St. Marys Rock.
On March 2, the U11 C Heat will play the South Huron Sabres in a playdown in Blyth, while the U18 BB Heat will welcome the South Huron Sabres to Seaforth for a playdown. The U15 C Heat will be on the road for a playdown with the South Huron Sabres.
