Blyth Festival Art Gallery hosts annual Chalk Around the Block event

Artists of all ages took to Blyth’s sidewalks on Aug. 29 for Chalk Around the Block, the annual event hosted by the Blyth Festival Art Gallery. After rain postponed the original date, participants brought the pavement to life with colourful chalk creations, while face painting, bubbles and a colouring and drawing table added to the morning’s activities.     (Tory Lynn Daw photos)
