Brenda Campbell presented with her Huron County Citizen of the Year Award

Last week in Blyth, Brenda Campbell of the Seaforth area was presented with her 2025 Huron County Citizen of the Year Award by Citizen Publisher Deb Sholdice. Campbell has been a mainstay of most philanthropic efforts in Seaforth and beyond. A recognizable face due to her real estate career, she has facilitated the town's annual Easter Egg Hunt and founded Seaforth Summerfest, both of which are major events on the Seaforth calendar every year. However, in 2025, it was as the Chair of the Seaforth 150th Homecoming Committee that she had the greatest impact. The event was one for the ages and she was at the centre of it.
