Brussels Minor Ball Day another success

On Saturday, the Village of Brussels celebrated what has come to be known in recent years as Brussels Minor Ball Day - a full day of minor baseball games at the community’s main diamond, culminating in a Huron County Fastball League game that night, featuring either the Brussels Bangers or Tigers.

 

The event usually comes complete with concession stands, activities for young baseball fans and a fish fry courtesy of the Brussels Legion, and while this year’s installment might have been one of the cooler Minor Ball Days in recent memory, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the players.     (John Stephenson photo)
