BLUEWATER GOLF COURSE & CAMPGROUND – 77416 Bluewater Hwy., Bayfield, N0M 1G0. Nestled beside the campground is a beautiful 9-hole golf course. Year-round adult living. Seasonal sites only: 115 sites. Reservations required. Park your trailer on our transient site for a night, weekend or weeks. Seasonal lots and resale units are also available. Open May to October.
 
THE OLD HOMESTEAD – 35248 Bayfield River Rd., PO Box 2118, Bayfield, ON, N0M 1G0. Phone 519-482-9256. Email: office@theoldhomestead.on.ca Website: www.theoldhomestead.on.ca Go north of Bayfield on Highway #21, then 800 metres east on Bayfield River Rd. Situated in a wooded area at the northern village limits of Bayfield close to Lake Huron and the Bayfield River, you will find an outstanding, quiet, relaxing, natural and scenic campground. The park offers pools, playground, soccer field, basketball hoop, beach volleyball, horseshoes, recreation hall, dumping station, laundromat, hot showers and more. Number of sites: 40 transient, 210 seasonal. Reservations preferred. Open April to October.
 
PINE LAKE CAMPGROUND – 77794 Orchard Line, Bayfield, 519-482-3380. Email: pinelakecamp@ hurontel.on.ca Website: www.pinelake-campground.com Two miles/ 3.2 km. north of Bayfield on Hwy. #21, one mile/1.6 km. east of Orchard Line. Nestled in a forest, Pinel Lake is a quiet, relaxing campground. Mini-golf, indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, beach. 10 transient sites, 429 season. Reservations required. Open year-round. Tent area, trailer area, picnic area, electrical outlets, sewer outlets, showers, flush toilets, laundromat, store, rec. hall, beach/swimming, fishing, pool, playground.
 
BLYTH CAMPGROUND – Blyth, Ontario. Located on Gypsy Lane. The campground offers an exceptional camping experience. It is deemed a “one-of-a-kind” facility in North America with amenities that are ideal for camping groups, family reunions, special events, and more! 800 serviced sites, community hall and arena dry pad, 45 acres of property. Reservations 519-357-1208. On-site community centre 519-523-9600.
 
ELLIOTT PARK – 94 Victoria St. E., Exeter, ON N0M 1S1, 519-235-2833, www.southhuron.ca. This quiet riverside park offers relaxed overnight camping across from MacNaughton Park in Exeter, which provides summer swimming, a playground and picnic area, as well as access to the MacNaughton-Morrison hiking trail. Close to downtown shopping and within a five-minute drive of two modern golf courses. Open year round. Number of sites: 10 transient (available on first-come basis). Facilities and amenities: tenting area/trailer area/picnic area.
 
MACKENZIE TENT AND TRAILER PARK – 85324 MacKenzie Camp Rd., RR#3, Goderich, 519-529-7536. Located one mile/1.6 km. off Highway 21 at Kintail, 13 miles/21 km. north of Goderich. Quiet family campground overlooking Lake Huron. Well treed and grass sites, sandy beach and beautiful sunsets, 30 transient, 95 seasonal sites. Reservations not required but preferred. Open second weekend in May to Thanksgiving. Tenting area, trailer area, picnic area, electrical outlets, sewer outlets, dump station, showers, flush toilets, rec hall, beach/swimming, playground, water on site. Mid-May to mid-October.
 
SHELTER VALLEY CAMP-GROUND – 36534 Huron Road, Clinton, 519-524-4141. www.sheltervalleycampground.ca Family camping at its best! Nestled in the heart of the Maitland River Valley, 5 minutes southeast of Goderich. Enjoy nature’s beauty in our picturesque, 40-acre park, while enjoying a heated pool, fishing, hiking trails, playgrounds, planned activities, shuffleboard, horseshoes, laundry and much more. Seasonal/overnight camping from May - October. (Pull-thru available).

PORT BLAKE DAY PARK & BEACH –  junction of Hwy. 21 and County Rd. 83, north of Grand Bend. 519-235-2833 or www.southhuron.ca for information or special event rates. This beautiful, quiet sandy beach day park is open Victoria Day to Labour Day weekend daily until dusk. Facilities include a picnic shelter, barbecues, playground, washrooms and change rooms.  Ideal for holding sunset weddings, family reunions, picnics, car shows and concerts. Daily parking $5/person or $12/carload. Season pass $60. No overnight camping.

 
FAMILY PARADISE CAMP-GROUND – 16 km/10 miles north of Seaforth on #12, then 5 km/3 miles east at 43835 Hullett-McKillop Road. Website: http://www.killamleisure living.com/familyparadise. Email: familyparadise@killamproperties.com Family-oriented campground offers hydro and water at all sites, some with sewer. Activities include fishing, swimming, sandy beach, pool, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball net, ball diamond, picnic area, playground, bingo, dances, wagon rides, children’s crafts, family planned activities most weekends, including Halloween and Christmas celebrations. Amenities include: flush toilets, showers, propane, store, recreational hall, Wi-Fi at the store, dump station, 38 tent/trailer sites, 178 seasonal sites. 519-527-0629.
 
WINGHAM TRAILER PARK – Wingham, Ontario. Located at the west end of John St. overlooking the Maitland River. Short walk to downtown shopping, hiking trails, fishing and biking. Splash park. Rd. 12 in Belmore. Family campground, beautiful lake with sandy beaches. Rec hall with dances, bingo, kids crafts, karaoke, potluck suppers. 18 transient, 145 seasonal sites. Reservations required. Open May 1 to October 1. Tenting area, trailer area, picnic area, electrical outlets, sewer outlets, dump station, showers, fishing, flush toilets, laundromat, store, beach/swimming, playground, water on site.
