Clinton Slots: new management, same fun

The Clinton Raceway and Slots is now under new ownership and management, but it still invests proceeds back into the industry and into the community.

It was in May, 2017 that Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited purchased the slots at Clinton Raceway. The purchase agreement also included the Hanover Raceway, Woodstock Raceway, Dresden Raceway, the Western Fair in London and a casino in Port Edward. At the time, the company signed a 20-year casino operating and services agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

   The raceway is home to live harness racing from May to September every Sunday with a post time of 1:30 p.m., while the Slots is open seven days a week, closing at 1 a.m.
