Dustin MacMillan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dustin MacMillan of Brussels, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Oct. 10, 2025.
Dustin will be forever loved and deeply missed by his parents, Christine Gulutzen and Derek MacMillan, and by his grandparents, Michael Gulutzen, and Mary MacMillan. He will also be remembered with love by his sisters Sarah and Jessica, their husbands Wes and Kevin, Sarah’s three children, Fierren, Brixton and Brinley, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dustin is predeceased by his loving grandparents, Dorothy Gulutzen and Don MacMillan.
Dustin brought light and laughter into every room he entered. He had a great, cheerful laugh and a kind spirit that touched everyone around him.
He proudly graduated from F.E. Madill Secondary School in 2019. Dustin loved four-wheeler rides, camping, spending time with family, horseback riding and listening to upbeat music. Dustin was often found sharing a smile with family who meant so much to him.
Throughout his life, Dustin faced more obstacles than one of his age rightfully should. He met those challenges with incredible strength and perseverance, inspiring those who knew him with his courage and heart.
He will be deeply missed and remembered always.
A family celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Brussels Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted, with confidence, to Listowel Community Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, 255 Elizabeth Street East, Listowel, Ontario, N4W 2P5, in gratitude for the exceptional care provided by the nursing staff, or to Ronald McDonald House - www.rmhc-swo.ca - would be appreciated.
Condolences and donation information is available online at www.listowelfuneralhome.com.
