Face the Storm event brings nearly 100 to Blyth, raising money for scholarship
The first-ever Face the Storm ride in Blyth was a success on Saturday, bringing over 80 cyclists together with local residents, business owners and service club members all to raise funds for the newly-created Face the Storm Scholarship. Les Cook and Anne Elliott led a dance stop at the Blyth Festival’s Harvest Stage while Anthony, Alex and Justin Peters led a hockey challenge at Lions Park, in addition to the other eight stops along the route.
