Glenn Bridge

Glenn Bridge passed away peacefully on Nov. 6, 2025, at Huronlea Home for the Aged in his 90th year.

 

The loving husband of the late Jean Bridge (2017), Glenn was the dad of Robert (Laura) Bridge and Scott (Joan) Bridge and the father-in-law of Rick Smith.

 

He was the grandpa of Amy Bridge and Ray Machard, Kelly Bridge, Jill Bridge, Danielle and Kurt Tosetto, Meagan and Zack Noyes, Tony and Laura Bridge, Kendra Holden, and Allison Widdis. Glenn was the great-grandpa of Veda, Daphna, Bray, Easton, Kaeli, Wesley, and Atla.

 

Glenn was predeceased by daughter Karen Smith (2015), and brothers Ben, Allan and Harold.

 

Glenn was a lifelong car guy; he started Bridge Motors in Brussels with his brother Allan and, for many years, he was known in the community with dealerships in Brussels and Wingham.

 

Glenn was heavily involved in the Brussels Legion at branch, district and provincial levels.

 

A quiet man, Glenn always had a story and a smile to share.

 

Friends and family were invited to the Brussels Legion on Monday, Nov. 10 for a celebration of life service.

 

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brussels Legion would be appreciated.
