Hockey to return to Brussels this weekend with Crusaders' action

There is a full slate of games at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre scheduled for this weekend following the extensive renovation and expansion of the centre.
Tonight, Friday, Oct. 27, the U21 Blyth Brussels Crusaders will host the South Bruce Blades in Brussels for a regular season game, while the U18 LL team will be in Mount Forest to play the Rams.
On Saturday, there are five games on the schedule at the centre. The action begins with half-rink games for the U8 Black and Burgundy teams against their counterparts from Mid-Huron, the Huskies, followed by the U9 MD team also taking on the Mid-Huron Huskies MD team.
That afternoon, the U15 Rep team will host the Shallow Lake Lakers and the U18 Rep team will welcome the Walkerton Capitals to Brussels.
Also that day, the U13 Rep team will host the Goderich Sailors in Blyth, followed by a game in Blyth between the U21 Crusaders and the Shallow Lake Lakers.
The next day, the U11 LL team will be in Hensall to play the Mid-Huron Huskies 2 team, followed by a pair of games in Blyth: the U9 LL team will host the Goderich Sailors and the U11 Rep team will play the Saugeen Valley Steelheads D team. Also that night, the U13 LL team will be in Wingham to play the Ironmen Blue team.
On Monday, Oct. 30, the U11 Rep and U15 LL Crusaders will be in Seaforth to play the Mid-Huron Huskies D and Huskies 2 teams, respectively.
Then, on Nov. 1, the U15 LL Crusaders will be back in action, this time at home, welcoming the Listowel Cyclones to Blyth. The next day, the U18 LL team will be in Wingham to play the Ironmen.
The weekend of Nov. 3-5 will spotlight the Ryan O’Reilly Tournament in Goderich and the U11 Rep team will be there to play.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, the U8 Black and Burgundy teams will be playing two Listowel Cyclones teams in Brussels, followed by a game between the U18 Rep Crusaders and the Goderich Sailors later that afternoon.
Also that day, the U13 Rep team will welcome the Walkerton Capitals to Blyth for a game, while the U9 LL team will be in Mitchell to play the Meteors.
The U7 Burgundy and White teams will both be in Clinton to play two Mid-Huron Huskies teams, while the U21 team will also be in Clinton to play the Mid-Huron Huskies.
To finish the weekend, on Sunday, Nov. 5, the U13 LL team will be in Hensall to play the Mid-Huron Huskies 1 team, while the U9 MD team will play the Mitchell Meteors MD team in Blyth.
The U18 LL Crusaders will play the Listowel Cyclones 2 in Listowel that day and the U13 Rep team will be in Shallow Lake to take on the Lakers.
Looking back, the U18 LL Crusaders lost to the Arthur Vipers 1 team on the road on Sunday, Oct. 22 by a score of 8-2, while the U11 Rep Crusaders lost to the South Bruce Blades in Blyth by a score of 5-1.
On Friday, Oct. 20, the U15 Rep Crusaders beat the Central Perth Predators on the road by a score of 6-0. The U15 LL Crusaders were in Wingham on Oct. 17 to play the Ironmen, only to be handed a 6-2 loss.
