Huron Heat heading to Halloween Havoc tournament this weekend

This weekend, the U18 C Huron Heat will be heading to West Northumberland for the annual Halloween Havoc tournament in search of some spooky success.
Play for the locals begins on Friday, Oct. 27 with a late-morning game against the Brockville Angels, followed by a game later that night with the Timmins Falcons. The young women then have two games scheduled for Oct. 28 against the Napanee Crunch and the Clarence-Rockland Lightning. Whether the team plays on Sunday will depend on its performance in its first four games.
Also that weekend, the U9 B Heat will travel to Milverton for the Central Perth Hocktoberfest tournament.
Regular season action will continue throughout the weekend and the following week, beginning with the U13 BB Heat welcoming the Lakeshore Lightning to Seaforth on Oct. 27, followed by a game between the U15 BB Heat and the Stratford Aces.
The next day, Oct. 28, the U13 BB Heat and the Lakeshore Lightning will tangle in Seaforth again, followed by games between the U9 C Heat and the Lambeth Lancers, the U9 HL Heat and another Lambeth Lancers team, the U11 HL Heat and the St. Thomas Panthers HL team, the U11C Heat and the Twin Centres Hericanes C team.
Also that day, the U13 HL team will be in Wallaceburg to play the Lakers HL team, while the U18 BB Heat will welcome the Waterloo Ravens to Clinton. Both the U15 C and U13 C Heat teams will be in Tillsonburg to play their corresponding Lightning C teams.
On Sunday, Oct. 29, the U13 C Heat will welcome the Woodstock Wildcats C team to Clinton, followed by a game between the U11 BB Heat and the Ayr Rockets and the U13 BB Heat and the St. Thomas Panthers.
The U9 C Heat will play the North Middlesex Junior Stars on the road, while the U9 HL Heat will play the South Huron Sabres in Zurich that day.
The Senior team will play Milverton in Hensall that night, while the U18 BB Heat will welcome the Stratford Aces to Seaforth.
To begin the month of November, the U13 C Heat will be on the road to play the Mitchell Meteors C team. Then, on Friday, Nov. 3, the U9 B Heat will welcome the Wilmot Wolverines to Clinton and the U13 BB Heat will play the London Devilettes in Seaforth.
Also that day, tournament action will begin for the U15 BB Heat in the Waterloo Ravens-hosted annual tournament.
The locals will play the host Ravens on the morning of Nov. 3, followed by a game with the Guelph Junior Gryphons later that evening.
Action for the U15 BB team continues on Saturday, Nov. 4 with a game against the Flamborough Falcons.
Also that day, the U9 C and U9 HL teams will be on the road for games with the South Huron Sabres, the U11 HL team will welcome the Bluewater Hawks HL team to Seaforth and the U13 HL team will be in St. Thomas to play the Panthers HL team.
On Sunday, Nov. 5, the U13 C team will play the Central Perth Predators C team in Clinton, followed by a game between the U13 BB Heat and the Woodstock Wildcats. The other five teams in action that day are all on the road. The U11 C team will play the Twin Centres Hericanes C team, the U18 BB Heat will play the Brantford Ice Cats, the Senior team will play Monkton, the U18 C Heat will play the Tillsonburg Lightning C team and the U15 C team will play the Wilmot Wolverines C team.
Looking back, on Oct. 22, the U13 C Heat beat the Tillsonburg Lightning C by a score of 8-0, followed by a U15 C Heat win, also over the Tillsonburg Lightning C, by a score of 3-1.
The U11 BB Heat tied their game with the Devilettes in London with each team scoring one goal. The Devilettes must have been in a tying mood that day, as the U13 BB Heat also tied London at one in Clinton that day.
The U18 BB Heat were on the road to play the Guelph Junior Gryphons and won by a score of 6-0, while the U18 C Heat lost by a score of 1-0 on the road to the Tillsonburg Lightning C team.
The U13 HL Heat played the St. Marys Rock HL team on the road that day, while the U15 BB Heat played the Capitals in Walkerton and the Senior team was on the road to play Elma Logan, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
On Oct. 21, the U11 HL Heat tied the Rams in Mount Forest at one, while the U13 HL Heat lost to the St. Thomas Panthers HL team in Goderich by a score of 4-0.
The U11 BB Heat lost to the Owen Sound Ice Hawks by a score of 3-2, the U11 C Heat beat the North Middlesex Junior Stars C team by a score of 3-2, the U13 BB Heat beat the Wildcats in Woodstock by a score of 5-1 and the U18 BB Heat shut out the Owen Sound Ice Hawks in Clinton by a score of 5-0. Also that day, the U9 B Heat welcomed the Waterloo Ravens to Seaforth and the U9 C team played the Central Perth Predators, also in Seaforth, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
On Oct. 17, the U15 C Heat hosted the West Oxford Inferno C team in Seaforth and won the game by a score of 6-2.
