Huron Heat teams continue to navigate playoff landscape

This weekend, the playoffs will continue for a number of Huron Heat teams as January turns to February and the hockey season continues to wind down.
Tonight, Friday, Feb. 6, the U15 B Heat will be on the road for a playdown with the Central Perth Predators and the U13 HL Heat will take on the West Oxford Inferno in a playoff game in Ingersoll. The U18 C Heat will host a playoff game with the Lambeth Lancers in Hensall and the U15 C Heat will welcome the Central Perth Predators to Goderich for a playoff game.
In regular season action that night, the Senior C team will be on the road to play Monkton.
The next day in playoff action, the U11 HL Heat will play the Lucan Irish in Goderich, the U11 C Heat will play the Saugeen Shores Storm in Port Elgin, the U11 B team will play the Twin Centre Hericanes in St. Clements and the U15 C Heat will play the Jets in Ilderton. In regular season play, the U18 BB Heat will play the South Huron Sabres on the road, the U11 A Heat will play the Lambton Attack on the road, the U9 B Heat will play the Grand River Mustangs in Fergus and the U9 C Heat will play the St. Thomas Panthers on the road.
On Sunday playoff action, the U15 C Heat will host the Mount Forest Rams in Clinton, the U15 B Heat will play the Kitchener Lady Rangers on the road, the U13 HL team will play the South Huron Sabres on the road and the U18 C Heat will be in Lucan to play the Irish. In regular season play, the Senior C team will play Monkton on the road, the U11 A team will play the Bluewater Hawks on the road, the U13 A Heat will play the Lambeth Lancers in Clinton and the U15 BB Heat will play the London Devilettes, also in Clinton.
On Monday, the U13 B Heat will be on the road for a playoff game with the Lucknow/Wingham 86ers in Wingham, followed by playoff games between the U11 B Heat and the St. Marys Rock in Seaforth and the U15 A Heat and the Saugeen Maitland Lightning in Howick the next day.
Then, on Thursday, Feb. 12, the U15 B Heat will play the St. Marys Rock on the road, the U18 C Heat will play the South Huron Sabres in Hensall and the U13 B Heat will host a playdown with the Lucknow/Wingham 86ers, all playoff games, while the U18 BB Heat will be on the road for a regular season game with the Bluewater Hawks.
Looking back, on Sunday, the U11 C Heat lost their playoff game with the Aces in Stratford by a score of 2-1, while, in other playoff action, the game between the U11 B Heat and the St. Marys Rock on the road ended in a scoreless tie, the U13 HL Heat beat the Irish in Lucan by a score of 4-1, the U11 HL Heat beat the Lambeth Lancers on the road by a score of 1-0 and the U13 B Heat ended their game with the Wilmot Wolverines on the road in a scoreless tie.
In regular season action that day, the U15 BB Heat tied the Lucan Irish in Clinton at one, the U13 A team lost to the Aces in Stratford by a score of 1-0 and the U15 A Heat beat the Sarnia Lady Sting in Clinton by a score of 7-0. The U7 team played the Irish in Lucan, the U11 A Heat hosted the Woodstock Wildcats in Clinton, the U9 B Heat took on the Woolwich Wild on the road, the U18 BB Heat played the Belmont Blazers on the road and the Senior C team played Belmore in Brussels, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
On Saturday, the U9 C Heat beat the St. Marys Rock by a score of 1-0 in Seaforth, the U13 HL Heat and Central Perth Predators fought to a scoreless tie in their playoff game on the road, the U11 HL Heat lost their playoff game with the Central Perth Predators on the road, the U13 B Heat beat the Wilmot Wolverines in their playoff game in Seaforth by a score of 2-0, the U13 C Heat lost their playoff game with the Central Perth Predators by a score of 4-2 and the U18 B Heat beat the Woodstock Wildcats in their playoff game on the road by a score of 1-0.
In regular season play that day, the U18 BB Heat beat the Windsor Wildcats in Clinton by a score of 10-0, the U15 A Heat and the South Huron Sabres tied at two on the road, while the U11 A Heat played the Wildcats in Woodstock and the U9 B Heat hosted the Kitchener Lady Rangers in Seaforth, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
One day earlier, the U15 B Heat hosted the Mitchell Meteors in Seaforth and that game ended tied at three. On Thursday, Jan. 29, the U15 C Heat won their playoff game with the Mount Forest Rams in Arthur by a score of 3-2 and way back on Monday, Jan. 26, the U15 B Heat beat the South Bruce Blades in a playoff game in Mildmay.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, the U11 C Heat hosted a playoff game with the Mount Forest Rams in Seaforth while, in regular season play, the U9 B Heat was in Wilmot to play the Wolverines and the U13 A Heat hosted the Bluewater Hawks in Seaforth. The next night, the U15 C Heat took on the London Devilettes on the road in a playoff game and, on Thursday, Feb. 5, the U18 B Heat hosted a playoff game with the Twin Centre Hericanes in Blyth and the U13 B team took on the London Devilettes in a playoff game in Seaforth, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
