Mrs. Ida Salverda of Seaforth and formerly of Londesborough, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, St. Mary’s on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020. She was in her 89th year.
Ida was the beloved wife of the late Edward Salverda (2009) and the loving mother of Ed and Joanne Salverda of Londesborough. She was the cherished grandmother of Kevin Salverda, Stratford; David and Christina Salverda, Londesborough, and Savannah Salverda, Nova Scotia and the great-grandma of Jake and Bryce.
Ida was the sister-in-law of Mike Salverda, Clinton, and Helen Schikker of Chatham. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Ida was predeceased by her siblings, Hillie, Geertje, Meindert, Janet, Jannie, Tom, Peter, and Edith.
Due to COVID-19, a private funeral service was held at Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton, on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
