Jacqueline (Montgomery) Chambers

Peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Jacqueline (Montgomery) Chambers passed away at the age of 78 surrounded by her family.

 

The beloved wife of Bob Chambers, Jackie was the devoted mom of Dwight Chambers (Heather), Dennie Chambers, Travis Chambers and Courtnee Chambers (Ryan), the proud grandma of Desirée (Bryan) Cluthe, Dylan Chambers, Tyler (Savannah) Cleghorn and Logan, Kaden and Rylin Huffman and great-grandma of Kellen and Ryleigh Cluthe and Clara Cleghorn.

 

She was the sister and sister-in-law of Brad and Maureen Montgomery, Trudy and Richard Wharton, Stuart and Kate Montgomery, Corrie and Wayne McKee, Art Hand, Barb Koch and Brenda Borland.

 

Jackie will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews and large extended family.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Muriel Montgomery, sister Sharon Hand, niece Sydney McKee, nephew Sheldon McKee, parents-in-law Ken and Bea Chambers and brother-in-law Bill Chambers.

 

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on Saturday, March 28 at the Wingham Columbus Centre from 1-4 p.m. Memories of Jackie will be shared at 2 p.m.

 

Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery in the spring.

 

Memorial donations to SickKids Hospital would be appreciated by Jackie’s family.
