James Edward Stewart

At Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels, on Friday, May 23, 2025, Mr. James Edward Stewart of Bluevale passed away at the age of 95 years.

 

The husband of Marie (Sellers) Stewart, Ed was the father of Dianne and Dennis Dosman of Gorrie, and father-in-law of Beverley Elston of Wingham.

 

He was the grandfather of Jennifer Elston of Wingham, Julie and Dwayne O’Grady of Bridgeport, Tracey Elston of London, Mark Dosman of Puslinch, and Troy and Debra Dosman of Mississauga, and great-grandfather of Paige, Liam, Dylan, Tyson, Jazmyne, and Isla.

 

Ed was predeceased by his parents, Burns and Irene (Rever) Stewart, and his son Larry Elston.

 

Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, May 26, where a private family funeral service was held the following day.

 

Interment will take place at Gorrie Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
