James Glousher
James Glousher passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025 at the age of 90.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, James is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jane (Snyder), and his children: David (Susan) Glousher, Doug Glousher, and Sharon (Patrick) Thompson.
He was much loved by his grandchildren: Jillian Glousher, Jeffery (Mary Frances) Glousher, Evan Thompson, Heather Thompson, Amanda (Lucas) Maciesza, Amy Thompson, and Calene (Michael) Noble, as well as his five great-grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Herb and Mae Glousher, his in-laws, John and May Snyder, four siblings: Robert (Joyce) Glousher, Jean (Kieth) Good, Donald Glousher, and Kenneth Glousher, and his sister and brother-in-law, Coby and Al Grummett.
He will be remembered by his sister-in-law Anne Glousher and brothers-in-law Rudy Snyder and Ron Snyder.
Jim was employed by the County of Huron’s Roads Department for 35 years. He was a talented mechanic and enjoyed working in his garage and clearing snow in his retirement.
He was born at RR1 Auburn but lived most of his life in Auburn. He loved the village, but his greatest joy in life was his family.
