James Russell Robinson

At Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on Monday, September 21, 2026, James Russell Robinson, formerly of Goderich, passed away at the age of 92.

 

The husband of the late Barbara (Zimmerman) Robinson, who predeceased him in 2018, Jim was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Cunnington) Robinson.

 

Jim will be remembered by Barb’s family, James and Joanne Hendrickson, Dave and Mary Hendrickson and Sandy and Roger Lloyd.
He was the brother of Joyce Coupland of Waterloo, Tom and Aantje Robinson and Bill Robinson all of Wingham.

 

Jim will be missed by his nieces and nephews.

 

He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Stewart Coupland, sister-in-law Maxine Robinson, niece Sandra Morrison and great-nephew Zack Kennedy.

 

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon.

 

Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
