Janet Alice (Goulding) Little

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026 Janet Alice (Goulding) Little, formerly of Wingham, passed away at the age of 86.

 

The devoted wife of the late Cecil Little, who predeceased her in 2005, Janet was the mother of Sherry Bradley of Barrie, Rick Bradley of Petawawa and Mike Bradley of Blyth. She was the step-mother of Sharon and Wally Smeltzer, Lori and Allan Best all of Nova Scotia, Donita and Al Jewel of St. Thomas, Cecil Jr. and Sabrina Little of Alberta, Rocky and Wendy Little of Parkhead, Juanita and Brian Hamp of Auburn and Kathy Hill of London. 

 

Janet was the loving grandmother of Justin, Caitlyn, Lily, Natasha, Michael, Kylea, Zachary, Dawnita, Christopher, Michael, Rob, Nicole, Andrew, Kelsie, Phillip, James, Tristan, Marshall, Valleena, Megan, Shelby, Bailey, and many great-grandchildren. 

 

She was the sister of Andrew Goulding, Jean Douglas, Joan Parsons and Christena Whitehead. 

 

Janet will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families. 

 

She was predeceased by grandson Curtis Elliott, granddaughter Erica Jewell, brother Robert Goulding, and granddaughter Cisely-Ann Little.

 

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, June 12 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 13 at 1 p.m. with Captains Brian and Bethany Dueck officiating. Reception will follow at the Wingham Salvation Army.  The service will be livestreamed and available on the funeral home website.

 

Interment will take place at Lovat Cemetery, Paisley at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society of Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada, or the Salvation Army Canada would be greatly appreciated.
