Kyle Stewart Procter (Harold)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Kyle Stewart Procter (Harold) announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at the age of 39.
Kyle was an incredibly proud and devoted dad. His daughter, Kierstynn (Keaton), was the centre of his world and his greatest source of pride. Nothing meant more to him than being her dad, and the love he had for her was evident to everyone who knew him.
Kyle was the much-loved son of Cam and Laurie Procter and brother of Peggy Procter (Bryce), Candace and Mitch Skinn, and Nicole and Mark Skinn. He was the cherished uncle of Kiera (Dylan), Colton, Hudson, Sawyer, Riley and Nicholas and will be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his coworkers, many friends and all those whose lives he touched along the way.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ross and Mary Procter and John and Martha Fisher, uncle Murray Fisher and aunt Jackie Lee.
Kyle was truly one of a kind. He was happiest outdoors, especially when he could spend his time fishing, hunting or enjoying a round of golf. When he was back home, he always made an effort to get to the arena to watch his nieces and nephews play hockey, cheering them on whenever he had the chance.
He appreciated the simple things, like being outside, spending time with the people he cared about and, whenever possible, making someone laugh.
If you knew Kyle, chances are you also knew him through Snapchat. Affectionately known as the “Snapchat King,” Kyle had a way of keeping everyone entertained and connected, sharing his humour, adventures and everyday moments along the way. He brought joy and fun wherever he went, and his larger-than-life personality and sense of humour will be remembered by everyone who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Belgrave Community Centre from 1-5 p.m. with words of remembrance at 3 p.m. The Belgrave arena was a place near and dear to Kyle and his family, making it a fitting place to gather, share memories and celebrate his life. Guests are encouraged to come dressed casually and in a way that reminds them of Kyle, whether that means a hockey jersey (a Leafs jersey would be especially fitting), camo or simply something comfortable. The gathering will take place in the arena - please keep in mind that it may be cool and dress accordingly.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Belgrave Community Centre, the Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey Association or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters in Kyle’s memory.
Arrangements entrusted to McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
