Margaret Ann LeSouder

Margaret Ann LeSouder, age 90, of Stratford, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Oct. 23, 2025. Born in Teeswater, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Miller) Cronin.

The beloved wife of 56 years of the late Edward LeSouder, who predeceased her on Nov. 2, 2010, Marg was the loving mother of Debbie Palmby (Larry). She was the cherished grandmother of Nicole Hvidsten (Matthew) and Michael Palmby (Carlin), and the proud great-grandmother of Kellar, Emmy, Serena, Margaret, and James.

Marg will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Cheryl Cronin, Josephine (Cronin) Landon, Marguerite Kelterborn, and Jean Girvin, as well as by her dear friend Ellen Nelson. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Madeline Meyer (Nelson) and Marie Glousher (Jerry Heffron) (Wilmer); brothers Jim Cronin (Florence), Lorne Cronin, Tom Cronin, and Henry Cronin; and brothers-in-law Larry Kelterborn and Bill Girvin.

Marg worked at A&P for many years and was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Church, Stratford.

Visitation was held at W.G. Young Funeral Home, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Stratford, on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Interment followed at Avondale Cemetery.
