Robinson crowned 2026 Huron County Queen of the Furrow

Emma Robinson was beaming from ear to ear after capturing the Queen of the Furrow title at the 2026 Huron County Plowing Match, besting fellow contenders Queenie Pentland and Katelyn Wynja. Outgoing Queen Gracie Hoggarth was a real hoot as master of ceremonies, keeping the crowd in stitches with jokes she’d learned from Neil McGavin. In the bottom right corner, Wynja gets down to business in the plowing portion of the event, proving she could turn over more than a few furrows herself.     (Scott Stephenson photos)
