Seaforth Centenaires sweep Milverton, open second round with Tavistock
After a decent-sized skirmish in the dying minutes of game four of the first-round playoff series between the Seaforth Centenaires and the Milverton Four Wheel Drives on Saturday in Seaforth, the home team plotted the ultimate revenge: winning the game.
The locals won by a score of 5-3 in the fourth and final game, sweeping the series and punching their ticket to the second round of the Ontario Elite Hockey League playoffs, which begin on Saturday with game one against the Tavistock Royals to take place in Seaforth, followed by game two in Tavistock the next day.
The Royals finished in fifth place in the regular season, while the Cents topped the league. (John Stephenson photo)
