Seaforth's Dugald McIntosh named Junior Champion at Canadian Plowing Championships

A rapidly-rising star in the world of competitive plowing, not just in Huron County or Ontario, but across the country, Seaforth’s Dugald McIntosh earned the title of Junior Champion at last week’s Canadian Plowing Championships, held in Ayton.
While McIntosh again impressed at this year’s Huron County Plowing Match, it was his performance at last year’s match and subsequent International Plowing Match that earned him his spot in the national championships last week.
At the 2024 International Plowing Match, McIntosh was crowned the champion of Class 2B with a total of 487. Last week, in Ayton, McIntosh was named the Junior Champion, with Amaranth’s Carson Little earning the Reserve Champion title. It was Little who finished just behind McIntosh at last year’s International Plowing Match as well with 426 points to McIntosh’s 487.
