The playoff dream for the Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey Association and its Crusaders team came to an end on Saturday, when the U13 team lost to the Wingham Ironmen in their Western Ontario Athletic Association championship series by a score of 4-3.

Over the weekend, at the 44th annual Toronto Leaside March Match-up tournament, the U11 A Huron Heat made it to the Pool B championship game, but they fell to the host Toronto Leaside Wildcats by a score of 2-0, settling for silver after a solid campaign.
