Two Southwest Admirals teams heading to West Niagara Doug Robinson All Star Challenge

This weekend, two Southwest Admirals teams - the U11 B and U16 A squads - will be part of the annual West Niagara Doug Robinson All Star Challenge.
The U11 B team will begin play today, Friday, Jan. 30, with games against the Haldimand River Kings and the Port Colborne Sailors, while the U16 A team will play the Brant Battalion and Tecumseh Eagles. The next day, the U11 B team will play the Mount Brydges Cougars and the U16 A Admirals will play the host West Niagara Flying Aces.
In regular season action this weekend, beginning tonight, the U12 A team will play the Tri-Centre Junior Attack in Clinton, the U11 A Admirals will play the West Coast White Caps in Lucknow, the U10 A and U18 A teams will play their West Coast White Caps counterparts in Zurich and Clinton, respectively, the U14 A team will play the Southeast Surge in Zurich and the U18 B Admirals will be in Lucknow to play the West Coast White Caps.
The next day, Saturday, Jan. 31, the U10 A team will play the Bruce Grey Bulls in Southampton, the U13 B team will play the Tri-Centre Junior Attack on the road, the U14 A Admirals will play the Southeast Surge in Harriston, the U11 A team will play the Bruce Grey Bulls in Zurich, the U15 B team will play the Bruce Grey Bulls in Southampton and the U18 B team will play the West Coast White Caps in Brussels.
On Sunday, the U13 B Admirals will be on the road to play the Tri-Centre Junior Attack, the U13 A team will host the Tri-Centre Junior Attack in Seaforth, the U15 B Admirals will play the Southeast Surge on the road, the U14 A team will play the Tri-Centre Junior Attack in Seaforth, the U18 A team will play the West Coast White Caps in Wingham and the U18 B team will play the Southeast Surge on the road.
Looking back at the week that was, on Sunday, Jan. 25, the U10 A team beat the Midwest 49ers in Seaforth by a score of 6-4, the U13 B Admirals beat the Southeast Surge by a score of 3-2 in Blyth, the U15 B team lost by a score of 5-4 to the Midwest 49ers in Hensall, the U13 A team lost to the Bruce Grey Bulls in Seaforth by a score of 3-1 and the U11 B team beat the Southeast Surge by a score of 3-1 on the road.
Also that day, the U11 A Admirals lost to the West Coast White Caps in Blyth by a score of 4-1, the U15 A team lost to the West Coast White Caps in Clinton by a score of 9-8 and the U14 A team beat the Midwest 49ers in Seaforth by a score of 5-3. A game between the U12 A team and the Bruce Grey Bulls, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in Hensall, was cancelled that day.
On Saturday, the U16 A Admirals beat the Midwest 49ers by a score of 6-3 in Hanover, followed by a 3-2 loss for the U18 B team on the road at the hands of the Tri-Centre Junior Attack and a 3-1 loss for the U18 A team, also on the road to their respective Tri-Centre Junior Attack counterparts.
The U13 A team lost to the West Coast White Caps by a score of 4-0 that day and the U15 B team beat the Bruce Grey Bulls by a score of 9-1, both in Brussels. The U11 A Admirals lost to the Midwest 49ers in Hanover by a score of 6-2, the U10 A team beat the West Coast White Caps in Zurich by a score of 8-2, the U13 B team lost to the West Coast White caps in Wingham by a score of 4-0, the U14 A Admirals beat the West Coast White Caps in Zurich by a score of 4-1 and the U15 A Admirals tied the Southeast Surge at six in Brussels.
There was only one game on the schedule for Friday, Jan. 23, with the U16 A Admirals scheduled to host the Bruce Grey Bulls in Zurich, but that game was cancelled due to the weather.
